RMC CLASSICS ("we", "us") builds a nostalgic collection of classic games at rmcclassics.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Account data: email address, chosen username, and a bcrypt-hashed password (we never store or see your plaintext password).
Gameplay data: games played, scores, wins, XP, streak, badges, unlocked themes, and friend connections — used for leaderboards, daily challenges, and matchmaking.
Device data: anonymous device type and screen size for responsive rendering.
Analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage counts (page views, game starts) via privacy-friendly analytics.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect location, contacts, camera, microphone, or health data.
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not target ads to you inside the app.

How we use your data

To power leaderboards, friend battles, and daily challenges.
To save your progress so you can log in on any device.
To improve the app and fix bugs (aggregated only).

Data storage & security

Your data is stored in MongoDB with encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We use industry-standard JWT for session tokens.

Your rights

Access: View your data on the Profile screen at any time.
Delete: Email us to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Export: Request a copy of your data by email.

Children

RMC CLASSICS is rated for ages 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child registered without consent, contact us and we will delete the account immediately.
